I’m guest blogging for my sister on why I run.
If you run or have a passion for any kind of exercise…why do you?
Or, if not, what drives you?
Check it out…while I continue my blissful vaca in Maine…XO!

I’m a runner, through and through. I knew this for certain when, at 6 months pregnant, I found myself running through the streets and laughing at how ridiculous I was….

That is true dedication!! And as frustrating as running can be for me, it’s challenging and rewarding and that’s what’s worth it, right?!

I am definitely not a runner – I hated it in school … used to bring up the rear of pack with a friend or if we were lucky and it was a circular route we could sit down and wait for the class to come back. Teehee.
I tried it for a while when I was first married and gave up, tried it again recently because I do need to exercise more and gave up again.
I’m quite envious of people who can do this – they always seem to be so fit and healthy and vibrant. But now I’m pretty convinced there must be running gene and it’s not in my DNA.

Mandy, you sound just like me before I got into running! I still find every step difficult, but that’s partially why I do it! But alas, it isn’t for everyone!
